What I do

Documents → Excel (OCR)

Tools that extract company, date, VAT, totals or table data from receipts and scanned PDFs into Excel/JSON. They run on your own computer or server; documents never go to the cloud. Values are cross-checked, and anything uncertain is flagged.

Fields read from a grocery receipt and the resulting JSON

Receipt OCR

Problem
Company name, tax ID, date, VAT and totals of hundreds of receipts were typed in by hand for bookkeeping.
Solution
CPU-only OCR with rule-based field extraction, no cloud or AI services. Rotated and side-by-side receipts are split automatically; VAT and totals are verified against each other. Then deployed to the client's server as an HTTPS API and measured with a load test.
Result
Drop photos into a folder, get JSON out. A receipt whose amounts don't add up is never written silently; it is flagged for review.

Cari Takip: Receivables & Installment Tracker

Problem
Small businesses that sell on credit or in installments keep receivables in a ledger or in Excel, which makes overdue payments hard to spot and chase.
Solution
A desktop program that works offline: the installment plan is previewed before saving, partial payments are recorded, and a ready-made WhatsApp reminder opens for overdue customers. Amounts are stored as integer kuruş; the rounding remainder goes to the last installment and due dates follow month ends (31 Jan, 28 Feb, 31 Mar).
Result
Runs as a single .exe and the data stays on the user's computer. The business rules are separate from the UI and verified by 49 automated tests.

A scanned materials list and the Excel table produced from it

Scanned PDF → Excel

Problem
Tables in scanned PDFs can't be copied, and Turkish number format (1.250,50) stays as text in most converters, so Excel can't sum it.
Solution
Pages with a text layer are read directly, scanned pages with OCR; columns are found from whitespace corridors on the page. Web (drag and drop) and desktop interfaces share one core.
Result
The sample document was converted in 1.2 seconds; numbers are written as real numbers, so formulas work immediately.

INTSHOP store page: product cards with the best dealer prices

Internship project · 2026

INTSHOP: Stock & Order Panel

Problem
Admins, dealers and customers needed to work on the same product catalog with different permissions.
Solution
A three-role application: the admin manages the catalog and price-change requests, dealers set their own stock and prices, customers shop in the store. Stock movements, login logs and charted reports.
Result
Live application: frontend on Vercel, API and database on Render. Runs locally with a single Docker Compose command.

Problem
Beginners lacked a step-by-step SQL resource that needs no installation.
Solution
A single-page app that opens in the browser: 13 lessons, syntax-highlighted examples, table schemas and progress tracking stored in the browser. No library dependencies.

Hi, I'm Furkan.

I'm a final-year engineering student. My coursework focuses on signal processing, embedded systems (STM32) and machine learning; I'm currently working on my graduation thesis.

As a freelancer I hand the repetitive, manual work of small businesses and bookkeeping processes over to software. With every delivery I measure and report how well things work, and I state a tool's limits openly.
